The Long Island Power Authority

The Long Island Power Authority will again this year offer rebates to both LIPA electric customers and dealers/installers for eligible 2-speed and variable speed swimming pool pump purchases and sales/installations. LIPSA’s KidSwim program
under full swing

Our mission is to educate kindergarten children and their parents in the rules of water safety. All research has shown that encouraging the ability to swim is the most effective way to prevent drowning and thus preserve our most valuable resources – our children. This fun, educational program runs 20-30 minutes, with take-home materials for each child. LIPSA is beginning a pilot program this Spring in a limited number of elementary schools and eventually hope to reach all of Long Island schools when we secure additional funding.
