Long Island Power Authority
The Long Island Power Authority will again this year offer rebates to both LIPA electric customers and dealers/installers for eligible 2-speed and variable speed swimming pool pump purchases and sales/installations. The program will run from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010.
LIPA electric customers that purchase and have installed by a LIPA Participating Dealer/Installer an eligible pump will receive a $75 mail-in rebate for 2-speed pumps and a $200 rebate for variable speed pumps. The dealer/installer who provides the sale/installation of these eligible products will receive a separate $75 rebate for each 2-speed pump and a $100 rebate for each variable speed pump installed.
The Customer Rebate Form also doubles as the Installer Rebate Form and must be filled out completely. The Rebate Form can be submitted by you on behalf of your customer, with a copy of the customer’s pool pump invoice, if desired. Please be sure to include the model number of the pump and controller on the rebate form as well as on the customer receipt.
If you are interested in participating, please sign and submit the 2010 Letter of Agreement, even if you already submitted one in 2009. Once you sign and submit the Letter of Agreement you will be considered a LIPA Participating Dealer/Installer and will be listed as such on the LIPA Web site (www.lipower.org/efficiency).
